Eden Espinosa

 Eden Erica Espinosa, born on February 2, 1978, is an American actress. She is also a vocalist and performer. Her Broadway debut was when she became a part of the original Broadway cast of Stephen Schwartz' musical Wicked. The show opened on October 30th the 30th of October, 2003. In the role of stand-in for Idina Espinosa, she played the role of Elphaba. She also acted as an understudy for Nessarose. Espinosa was Elphaba in Menzel's production of Ask the Dust for a month. Espinosa was a part of the cast with Menzel, along with Kristin Chenoweth (and Jennifer Laura Thompson). Espinosa was the Wicked leading lady and quit Wicked in September of 2004 to make the Broadway debut of Brooklyn. Stephanie J. was replaced by her. Block who was recuperating from an injury.
