Elizabeth Halseth

 Halseth has announced her resignation on the 17th of February 2012, citing challenges in juggling her senatorial duties as well as being a single mother. In her letter of resignation, she also declared that she will seek employment outside of Nevada due to difficulties in finding jobs. After being criticized for not attending meetings and not responding to calls, she quit her job. Daniel Halseth, her husband at the time, was later charged with two felonies: one for battery and one of coercion. He was also charged with a misdemeanor count of open and gross sexual indiscretion. While Halseth did not win the "Hot 100", contest, Maxim later featured her in a photoshoot held in October 2012. Elizabeth Halseth was born on February 5, 1983. From November 2010 until February 2012, she served as an elected Republican senator from Nevada. She was the youngest elected female member of the Nevada Legislature. She has declared that she will run for another term as a member of the Nevada Senate in 2018.
