Abbie Cornish, born 7 August 1982 in Australia, is an actress. Cornish is most well-known for her roles in Somersault (2004), Fanny Brawne (Bright Star (2009)) as well as Sweet Pea (Sucker Punch (2011)), Lindy in Limitless (2011) and Clara Murphy (1914) as Sarah. She also worked alongside Martin McDonagh, a writer/director for Seven Psychopaths (2012), and Three Billboards outside Ebbing, Missouri (2017). Cornish was part of the ensemble and received her Screen Actors Guild Award for the film. In the year 2018, she played Cathy Mueller in the first season of the Amazon Video series Jack Ryan alongside John Krasinski. After winning the finals of the Dolly Magazine contest, Cornish began modeling at age 13. Cornish was awarded the Australian Film Institute Young Actor's Award in 1999 for her performance in Wildside which was an Australian Broadcasting Corporation television program. Cornish was then offered her first film role in feature, The Monkey's Mask.
