Angelina Jolie[3] DCMG (/dZoU'li:(born Angelina Jolie Voight; June 4 1975) is an American actor, director and human rights activist. She has received numerous awards which include three Golden Globe Awards and an Academy Award. Her film career took off 10 years later with Cyborg 2 (1993), and was followed by Hackers (1995). She was the main character in biographical cable movies George Wallace (1997) and Gia (1998). In 1999, she received the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. She was also a part of Lara Croft, Tomb Raider (2001) in which she played the lead role of the video game heroine. Her action-star career continued with Mr. & Mrs. Smith (2005) and Wanted (2008).
