Anna Cooke Kendrick was born August 9, 1985. She has received various accolades which include a Satellite Award, five Teen Choice Awards as well as three MTV Movie Awards, and nominations for an Academy Award, a Primetime Emmy Award as well as an Tony Award; making her one of the youngest people to be nominated for the "Triple Crown of Acting" and the youngest person to have done so without winning.Kendrick began her career as an actor in theater productions from the age of just. She was the star of High Society, a Broadway musical in which she performed. For this role she was nominated for the Tony Award as Best Featured actress in a Musical. Her debut film role was in Camp, a musical comedy. Her fame was boosted due to her role as the star of the Twilight Saga (2008)-2012. She was also recognized for the comedy-drama film Up in the Air (2009), which earned her a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress, and for her leading role in the Pitch Perfect film series (2012-17).
