Benjamin Edward Meara Stiller, born on November 30, 1965 was an American actor, comedian and film maker. He is the father and daughter of actors and comedians Jerry Stiller, and Anne Meara. He has earned more than $2.6billion across Canada as well as the United States with his films with an average of $79 million per film. Stiller was also a part of the Frat Pack which was a group of comic actors. Stiller began his acting career by writing mockumentaries. Then the actor was offered a show named The Ben Stiller Show. The variety comedy show aired 13 episodes, and was written and hosted by Stiller. He was awarded the Primetime Emmy Award in 1992 for his Outstanding Writing for Variety Program. The show was telecast on MTV between 1990 between 1990 and 1992. After his appearance in Friends, Curb Your Enthusiasm and Arrested Development, he started acting in movies.
