Carrie Marie Underwood, born on the 10th of March 1983 was an American country music artist. After winning the fourth season in American Idol 2005, she became famous. The single "Inside Your Heaven" made her the only country artist to make it onto the Billboard Hot 100 chart and the only solo country artist in the 2000s to have one of the top songs on the Hot 100. Some Hearts, her debut album, was followed by the crossover singles "Jesus Take the Wheel", as well as "Before He Cheats". It was the most popular debut album of a solo female in the history of country music. She received three Grammy Awards for the album, including Best New Artist. Carnival Ride (2007), her album that followed, was one of the biggest opening weeks by an artist of female origin. It also won two Grammy Awards. Play On the third studio album was preceded by "Cowboy Casanova", the first single from the album. She also won two Grammy Awards for her fourth album, Blown Away (2012), which was the second-best-selling album by an artist of female origin. The crossover smash "Something in the Water" was spawned by her compilation Greatest Hits Decade#1 (2014).
