Daniela Ruah

 Daniela Sofia Korn Ruah, born on December 2, 1983 was an American actor and director. She is most well-known for her role as NCIS Special Agent Kensi in the role she played on the CBS's CBS police procedural show. She won a Portuguese-television dance competition.Ruah moved to the U.K at the age of 18 and earned a Bachelor of Arts in performing arts from London Metropolitan University. She returned to Portugal to pursue acting, and in 2007 she relocated to New York City for a Bachelor of Arts in performing arts at the Lee Strasberg Theater. Her father is a Portuguese-Jewish, as is her mother who is Jewish.
