David Wayne Spade (born July 22, 1964) is an American actor, stand-up comedian, television host, and writer. He was a part of the cast on Saturday Night Live in the 1990s. He later started his acting career in both film and television. He also co-starred or starred in the films Tommy Boy (1995), Black Sheep (1996), Joe Dirt (2001), Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star (2003) and The Benchwarmers (2006), Grown Ups (2010) and its sequel in 2013 The Ridiculous 6 (2015), The Do-Over (2016) The Do-Over (2016), as well as The Wrong Missy (2020).He has been part of the ensemble cast for two long-running sitcoms, Just Shoot Me! Rules of Engagement (2007-2013) and Just Shoot Me! He also starred in 8 Simple Rules (2004-2005) as C. J. Barnes. He received nominations for two Golden Globes and a Primetime Emmy Award for his performance in Just Shoot Me! In animation the voice actor played Ranger Frank in The Rugrats Movie (1998), Kuzco in The Emperor's New Groove (2000) and its direct-to-video sequel Kronk's New Groove (2005),
