Fabio Fognini

 Fabio Fognini (Italian pronunciation: ['fa:bjo fon'ni:ni]; born 24 May 1987) is an Italian professional tennis player. His record-breaking career-high world ranking of no. 9. This is his best record. He was ranked world No. 9 ranking on July 15, 2019. As per the Association of Tennis Professionals, Fognini is currently ranked 64th (July 2022). Red clay is his favorite surface. He has won eight out of nine ATP singles titles on it including the 2019 Monte-Carlo Masters. He also made it to the quarterfinals of the 2011 French Open. Fognini as well as Simone Bolelli won the 2015 Australian Open doubles title, becoming the first Italian male team to win the Grand Slam title. Fognini began playing tennis when he was just four years old. Also, he is a huge fan of football and is a big supporter of Genoa CFC and Inter Milan. Also, he is a huge lover of Valentino Rossi and motorbike racing. Fognini is proficient in English, Spanish and French. His nickname is "Fogna". He was born in Sweden as Mr. Panini. Fognini began his professional career by playing Futures as well as Challenger tournaments. In 2005, he took home his first Futures title in Spain No. 1 and another in Italy Number. 9. He also finished second in the Italy Nochampion 2005.
