Gabrielle Monique Union Wade was born on the 29th of October on 1972. She began her career in the early 1990s through a string of TV appearances. She then landed supporting roles in the 1999 teen films She's All That, 10 Things I Hate about You and many more. After her role in Love & Basketball, a romantic sports drama, Union rose to prominence during the subsequent year. She's also famous for her performances in The Brothers (2001), Deliver Us from Eva (2003) and Daddy's Little Girls (2007). Her starring roles included the CBS medical drama City of Angels (2000), Bad Boys II (2003) and Cradle 2 The Grave (2003). She was also in the films Bad Boys II, Cradle 3 the Grave (2006), Neo Ned (2008), Top Five (2014), and Breaking In (2018). Union was the first to appear on the BET drama series Being Mary Jane. She has been honored with an NAACP Image Award. Union also appeared in The Birth of a Nation (2016) as well as Almost Christmas (2016), and Sleepless (2017).
