Olugbenga Enitan Temitope Akinnagbe (/'beNGg@ @'ki:n@beI/ BENGg@ @-KEEN-@; born on December 12, 1978) is an American actor and writer most well-known for his role as Chris Partlow on the HBO series The Wire and as Larry Brown in The Deuce. HBO show The Deuce.In 2007, Akinnagbe appeared in the film The Savages with Philip Seymour Hoffman, Laura Linney, and Philip Bosco. He appeared in the remake of The Taking of Pelham One Two Three The film was released by Sony in June 2009. Akinnagbe appeared as Elijah Okello (a former Ugandan child soldier living in New York) on a season 10 Law & Order Special Victims Unit episode called "Hell". Robert Wisdom, Akinnagbe's ex-The Wire castmate, also appeared as Father Theo Burdett in the episode. In 2010 in Seattle, Washington Akinnagbe starred in the world premiere production of The Thin Place at The Intiman Theatre. Akinnagbe was Ben Ellis in "Contenders", an episode of the TV show Numb3rs. The summer of 2006 saw Akinnagbe performed the role of "Zim"
