Radric Delantic Davis (born February 12, 1980) also known professionally as Gucci Mane, is an American musician and record producer. Along with his fellow Atlanta rappers T.I., he helped to create hip hop subgenres of trap music. and Young Jeezy, particularly in the 2000s and the 2010s. In 2005, Gucci Mane debuted with Trap House, followed by his second album, Hard to Kill in 2006. The third studio album Back to the Trap House was released in 2007. After a string of commercially and critically successful mixtape releases in 2009, Gucci Mane released his fourth studio album, The State vs. Radric Davis the first album to be certified gold. After his time in prison between 2014 and 2016, he re-emerged with a number of new retail releases such as Everybody Looking (2016) that was received a favourable review. Gucci Mane's 2016 collaboration with Rae Sremmurd was titled "Black Beatles". It was his first number one single on the US Billboard Hot 100 charts.
