 Jermaine Cole, who was born on January 28th 1985, is an American rapper from the United States. He also is a songwriter, singer and producer of records. Cole was born in Germany on a military base, and grew up in Fayetteville. Cole first came to recognition as rapper in 2007 after the release of Come Up, his debut mixtape. Cole released his debut album as a studio artist, Cole World, The Sideline Story in 2011, to try his hand at an acting career. The album reached the top spot on the US Billboard 200. [5Born Sinner Born Sinner (2013) was the next album he released and it topped the Billboard 200. 2014 Forest Hills Drive (2014) was an album with more consciousness that topped the Billboard 200. Cole received an Best Rap Album nomination from the 2015 Grammy Awards. The fourth album 4 Your Eyez Only (2016) was a jazz-influenced album. It was released at number one on the Billboard 200.
