Jennifer Love Hewitt (born February 21st 1979) is an American actor and singer. Hewitt started her career as an infant actor and singer, starring in national commercials prior to joining the cast of the Disney Channel series Kids Incorporated (1989-1991). Her most memorable role was Sarah Reeves Merrin on the Fox Teen Drama star (1995-1999). She came to prominence for her performance in I Know What You Did in the Last Summer (1997) as well as its 1998 sequel. Also, she starred as Julie James in the horror films I Know What You Did (1997). In addition to her roles in these films, Hewitt has also appeared in live-action Garfield films (2004) and (2006). She was a part of Melinda Gordon on the CBS supernatural drama Ghost Whisperer (2005-2010), Riley Parks on the Lifetime drama series The Client List (2012-2013), Special Agent Kate Callahan on the CBS crime drama Criminal Minds (2014-2015), and in 2018 Maddie Buckley on the Fox first-responder procedural 9-1-1. For her role in the pilot of The Client List's film the show, she was nominated for the Golden Globe Award as Best Actress - Miniseries/TV Film.
