Johnny Depp

 John Christopher Depp II, born on June 9, 1963 is an American actor. Many awards have been given to Depp, including the Screen Actors Guild Award and the Golden Globe Award. He was also nominated for three Academy Awards, two BAFTA Awards as well as Platoon (1986). Depp became famous as a 21 Jump Street teen idol (1987-1990). The 1990s saw Depp was mostly seen in independent movies with auteur directors, often playing eccentric characters. The films included Cry-Baby (1990), What's eating Gilbert Grape (1993), Benny and Joon (1993), Dead Man (1995), Donnie Brasco (1997), and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas (1998). Depp began a long-term relationship with Tim Burton. He played the lead parts in the film Edward Scissorhands (1990), Ed Wood (944) and Sleepy Hollow (99).
