Durk Derrick Banks (born October 19, 1992), known professionally as Lil Durk, is an American musician and rapper. He is the main member and the founder of the label and collective Only the Family (OTF).Durk garnered an cult following after the debut of his Signed to the Streets mixtape series (2013-2014), leading to a contract with Def Jam Recordings. After Durk's debut album of studio work Remember My Name (2015), and Lil Durk 2X (2016) were released, Durk left Def Jam in 2018. In July of 2018, Durk signed a deal with Alamo Records. Durk's debut appearance on the Billboard Hot 100 as a prominent artist was in April of 2020 when he released "Viral Moment" the fifth studio album, just because you all have waited 2 (2020). The resurgence of Lil Durk's popularity in the commercial world was reflected in singles like "3 Headed Goat" (featuring Polo G and Lil Baby), "Backdoor" and "The Voice" and his contributions to Drake's single from 2020.
