Mark Johnson

 American producer Mark Johnson was born December 27, 1945. Johnson was given the Best Picture Academy Award in 1988 for his work on Rain Man. The film featured Tom Cruise and Dustin Hoffman. The film received four Oscars and was also nominated for an award called the Golden Globe. Johnson first started his show business career in 1965 as an actor in the Spanish "Spaghetti Western", Brandy. In Spain where he spent the first 10 years of his childhood. He was an extra in films like Nicholas and Alexandra by Franklin Schaffner and Dr. Zhivago by David Lean. From his early years in the film industry, he was able perform small roles in European western Ride and Kill and The Thin Red Line (1964). After earning an undergraduate degree in Drama at the University of Virginia and an MA in Film Scholarship from the University of Iowa,
