Morgan Freeman

 Morgan Freeman (born June 1, 1937) is an American actor, director, and narrator. He is well-known for his distinct voice as well as his various roles in a wide variety of film genres. His professional career spans over fifty years and has earned many awards including an Academy Award. Screen Actors Guild Award and an Golden Globe Award. In his early days being an actor on stage and studied theatre arts in Los Angeles. His role on the children's TV series The Electric Company made him famous in the 1970s. Freeman also appeared in Shakespearean plays Coriolanus as well as Julius Caesar, the former of which earned him an Obie Award. Street Smart (1987) was his breakout role, where he played hustler. This earned him an Academy Award nomination as Best Supporting actor. He achieved further stardom through Glory (1989) as well as the biographical drama Lean on Me (1989).
