Rebecca Alie O'Connell(nee Romijn [/roU'meIn/ roh-MAYN; Dutch: [ro:'mein]born on 6 November, 1972) is an American actress and model from the past. She is famous for her character Mystique in the first trilogy (2000-2006) of the X-Men film series as Joan from The Punisher (2004) (both made based on Marvel Comics), the dual roles as Laure Ash and Lily Watts in Femme Fatale (2002),and the role of Number One in Star Trek: Discovery (2019) and Star Trek: Strange New Worlds (2022-present). She also has the privilege of playing Alexis Meade on the television series Ugly Betty. Other roles she has appeared in includes Eve Baird in TNT's series The Librarians and Lois Lane in DC Animated Movie Universe. Her mother is American with Dutch and English origins. Rebecca's mom met her dad as an teen in the Netherlands as part of a student exchange program.
