Scotty Maurice Pippen Sr. (born on the 25th of September, 1965) is often referred to as Scottie Pippen, is an American former professional basketball player. He was a member of the National Basketball Association (NBA) for 17 seasons, winning six NBA championships with his team the Chicago Bulls. Pippen is regarded as one of the greatest small forwards ever. He played a major role in the evolution of the Bulls into a champion team and in the popularization of the NBA throughout the 1990s. He was a seven-time NBA All-Star, and the NBA All-Star Game MVP for 1994. The Chicago Bulls retired his jersey in 1996 and 1997, making the only four players selected as one of the top 50 basketball players of all time. He was the main player on both the 1992 Chicago Bulls Championship team and the 1996 Chicago Bulls Championship team, that were selected as two of the Top 10 Teams in NBA History.
