Shania Twain

 Eilleen Regina "Shania" Twain OC (/aI'li:n/ eye-LEEN, /S@naI@/ nee Edwards; born August 28 in 1965) is a Canadian musician and singer. She is the top-selling female country singer in history. She is also one of the best-selling artist of all time with more than 100 million albums. Her popularity earned her numerous titles including the title of "Queen of Country Pop". Billboard named Twain the top performer among 1990s country-pop crossover artists. Her birthplace was in Timmins, Ontario. Twain began singing at a very young age and was signed to Mercury Nashville Records in early 1990s. Her 1993 self-titled debut album was a commercial disaster. In collaboration with producer and later husband Robert John "Mutt" Lange, Twain gained notoriety with her sophomore studio album The Woman in Me (1995) that brought her widespread recognition. Twain's third studio album "Come On Over" (1997), sold over 20 million copies in total. It was the birthplace of eight smashes including "Any Man in My Life" and won her a Grammy Award.
