Taraji

 Taraji Penda Henson, /t@'ra/dZi/t@-RAH/jee was born September 11, 1970. She is an American actress. After completing her studies in acting at Howard University, she began her Hollywood career as a guest actor on a variety of TV shows. She made her debut in Baby Boy (2001). She played a prostitute in Hustle & Flow (2005) and was awarded an Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance in a Cast in a Motion Picture nomination. She also played as a single mother of disabled child in David Fincher's Case of Benjamin Button (2008) which for which she won Academy Award, SAG Award and Critics Choice Award nominations for Best Supporting Actress. She was in Date Night in 2010 and she also co-starred in the new version of The Karate Kid with Jackie Chan and Jaden Smith. In 2011, she appeared in the Lifetime Television film Taken from Me The Tiffany Rubin Story,
