Edward Thomas Hardy CBE (born 15 September 1977) is an English actor. After attending the Drama Centre London, he made his film debut in Ridley Scott's Black Hawk Down (2001). Since then, he's been nominated for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor, two Critics’ Choice Movie Awards, and two British Academy Film Awards. He also received the 2011 BAFTA Rising Star Award. He played "Mad Max Rockatansky" in Mad Max: Fury Road in 2015 as well as in the role of the Kray twins in Legend. He was a pilot with the RAF and was in Inception (2010), The Dark Knight Rises (2012) and Dunkirk (2017). He was both Eddie Brock (and Venom) in the 2018 film about antiheroes Venom.
