Alexis Morgan

 Alexandra Morgan Carrasco, born Alexandra Patricia Morgan on July 2nd 1989 is an American professional soccer player. She plays as a striker for San Diego Wave FC in the National Women's Soccer League. This is the top women's soccer level in the United States and also captains the United States women's national team. [7] She co-captained the United States women's national soccer team alongside Carli Lloyd and Megan Rapinoe between 2018 to 2020. Shortly after graduating early from the University of California, Berkeley, where she played for the California Golden Bears, Morgan was drafted number one overall in the 2011 WPS Draft by the Western New York Flash. Morgan made her debut as a professional in the club and played a key role in winning the league title. Morgan, who was 22 , at the time, was the youngest player of the national team during the 2011 FIFA Women's World Cup, which the team finished second. In the 2012 London Olympics Morgan scored the match-winning goal the 123rd minute of semi-final match against Canada. She ended 2012 with 28 goals and 21 assists, joining Mia Hamm as the only American woman to score 20 goals and give 20 assists in.Alexis Alexis
