 Amy Poehler, an American comedian, actor, writer, producer and voice artist with a wealth of $22.5 million. She's a multi-talented American. Her most famous role is in the role of the main character on her role on the NBC comedy "Parks and Recreation". The actress has also been in numerous films. The first time she became famous was thanks to "Saturday night Live".Amy Meredith was born in Newton, Massachusetts on September 16th of 1971. Parents Eileen and William Poehler were both teachers at school. Her younger brother is, Greg, who is actor and producer. Amy has a family within Burlington, Massachusetts. Boston suburban area that is Burlington, Massachusetts. Amy was bitten by the acting bug when she played Dorothy in"The The Wizard of Oz" at her middle school when she was 10. At high school, she was also active in drama and elected to the student council. They played soccer and softball with the team. She graduated from high school in 1989, then enrolled at the nearby Boston College. Amy was part of a comedy group that improvised during college. In 1996, Poehler and four other UCB performers moved from the city of their birth to New York City. The UCB performers performed in small places around the city. Poehler is also a guest on several seasons on "Late Evening on the Radio with Conan O'Brien" in which he performed sketches.
