Ashley Michelle Tisdale was born July 2, 1985. She is an American actor and singer. She appeared in over 100 commercials as a child and played small roles in the theatre as well as on television. Maddie Fitzpatrick, a Disney Channel sitcom for teens named The Suite Life of Zack & Cody (1905-2008) was her biggest success on the mainstream. She was also a star in the High School Musical movie series (2006)-2008. Following the success of the series, Tisdale signed with Warner Bros. Records. She then released her first studio album, Headstrong (2007). This was a commercial success and was awarded a gold certificate from the Recording Industry Association of America. Tisdale played the voice role of Candace Flynn in the Disney Channel animated series Phineas & Ferb (2007-2015).Tisdale's second studio album, Guilty Pleasure (2009), was released to less commercial success than its predecessor. Tisdale would part ways with Warner Bros. Records following the release of the album. At this point she started appearing in more films and returned to TV with shows like Hellcats (2010).
