Barbara Eden

 Barbara Eden, born Barbara Jean Morehead on the 23rd of August 1931, is an American performer and actress. Her most famous work is for her role as Jeannie in the sitcom I Dream of Jeannie (1965-1970). Roslyn Pierce, Elvis Presley's sidekick in Flaming Star (1960), Lieutenant JG Cathy Connors (Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea from 1961 to) as well as Stella Johnson, a widowed mother in Harper Valley PTA (1978) are some other noteworthy roles. In the wake of the success of the film Eden reprised her role in the role of Stella Johnson in a two-season television show called Harper Valley PTA.Eden's first public appearance was in the choir of the church, where she sang solos. When she was a teenager she performed in local bands (led by Howard Fredericks and Freddie Martinstudied theater for one year in the City College of San Francisco. Barbara Huffman was her Miss San Francisco 1951 election. She also entered Miss California in 1955.
