Carrie Marie Underwood, born on the 10th of March 1983 is an American country artist. Her fame grew after she won the fourth season of American Idol in 2005. Her single "Inside Your Heaven" was the first country artist to debut atop the Billboard Hot 100 chart and the only solo country artist in the 2000s to have an album with a top-ranked song on the Hot 100. The album she released her debut album, Some Hearts (2005), was bolstered by the successful crossover singles "Jesus, Take the Wheel" and "Before He Cheats", making it the top-selling female solo debut album in the history of country music. The album was awarded three Grammy Awards, including Best New Artist. Carnival Ride (2007), her album that followed, featured one of the best opening weeks by any female artist. It also won two Grammy Awards. The single "Cowboy Casanova" was her third studio album. It had one of the biggest single week upward movements in the Hot 100.
