Demetria Devonne Lovato (/l@'va:toU/ l@'VAH-toh, born on August 20, 1992) is also known as Demi Lovato, is an American singer, songwriter and actress. After her role in the television show for children Barney & Friends (2002-2004), Lovato rose to prominence for playing Mitchie Torres on the musical television movie Camp Rock (2008) and its sequel Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam (2010). The soundtrack to the previous film featured "This Is Me" which was the debut single of Lovato and duet with Joe Jonas. It peaked at number nine in the U.S. Billboard Hot 100. Following her joining Hollywood Records, Lovato released her pop rock debut album, Don't Forget (2008) that was released at the second spot on the U.S. Billboard 200. Its follow-upalbum, Here We Go Again (2009) came out at the top of the charts in the U.S., while its title track reached number 15 on the Hot 100. Unbroken (2011) was her third studio album. It included pop and R&B and was the source for the U.S. platinum-certified single Skyscraper. In 2013 she dropped her fourth album Unbroken (2011). It debuted at number 3 on the Billboard 200 and included Holy Fvck. The album was released in 2022.
