Demetria Devonne Lovato (/l@'va:toU/ l@-VAH-toh; born August 20, 1992), known as Demi Lovato, is a popular American artist, singer and actress. After appearing on Barney & Friends (2002–2004), Lovato became well-known for her role as Mitchie Torres on the musical TV film Camp Rock (2008) and its sequel Camp Rock 2 : The Final Jam (2010). The soundtrack of the former film featured "This Is Me", Lovato’s first single as well as a duet with Joe Jonas. It peaked at the top of the U.S. Billboard Hot 100. Following her joining Hollywood Records, Lovato released her debut album of pop rock, Don't Forget (2008) that came out at second place on the U.S. Billboard 200. Here We Go Again (2008) This album, which was the follow-up to the album, debuted at 1 in the U.S. and its title track reached 15 on the Hot 100. Her third studio album, Unbroken (2011), experimented with pop and R&B and resulted in the U.S. platinum-certified single "Skyscraper".
