She was the main character on Saturday Night Live (1982-1985), Seinfeld (89-1998), The New Adventures of Old Christine (2006), Veep (2012) as well as Veep (2012–2019). She is among the actresses with the highest number of awards in American television time, receiving more Primetime Emmy Awards and more Screen Actors Guild Awards than any other actor, and tied with Cloris Leachman (with eight) for the most acting wins.Louis-Dreyfus started her comedy career by performing in The Practical Theatre Company in Chicago, Illinois, which resulted in her getting a role on the show called Saturday Night Live from 1982 to 1985. Her breakthrough came in the year 1990 with a nine-season stint as Elaine Benes on Seinfeld, one of the most critically acclaimed and commercially successful sitcoms ever. Her other TV roles include Christine Campbell in The New Adventures of Old Christine, which ran for five seasons on CBS;
