Dennis Quaid

 Dennis William Quaid, born April 9th, 1954, is an American actor who is well-known for his various dramatic and comedic roles. His most notable performances include Breaking Away (1979), The Right Stuff (83) and The Big Easy(86), Innerspace (1987) as well as Great Balls of Fire (1987). The actor first came into recognition in the latter part of the 1970s. (1989), Dragonheart (1996), The Parent Trap (191998), Frequency (2000), The Rookie (2002), In Good Company (2005), Yours, Mine & Ours (2005), Vantage Point (2008). Joe: The Rise of Cobra (2008), Footloose (2011) and Soul Surfer (2011). He was also in Beneath the Darkness (2012). Truth (2015), The Pretenders (2018). Midway (2019), The Intruder (1999), Blue Miracle (2021), American Underdog (2021). He was awarded among other awards the New York Film Critics Circle Award for Best Supporting Actor for his performance in Far from Heaven (2002). He was recognized by The Guardian as one of the most outstanding actors who not have ever been considered for nominations to an Academy Award.
