Fernando Torres

 Fernando Jose Torres Sanz, Spanish pronunciation: [fer'nando ‘toresHe was born 20 March 1984. He was an ex-footballer and striker manager from Spain. Atletico Madrid Juvenile A's current manager is the former manager. Due to his prolific scoring rates when he was an early player, Torres was referred to as El Nino ("The Kid") He was renowned for his speed, precision in his finishing, and ability to hit the head. He finished third at the Ballon d'Or 2008 and in 2009 and 2008 Torres was a member of the FIFA World XI. Torres started his career with Atletico Madrid, and then moved up through the youth program into the first-team squad. In 2001 Torres made his debut in the first team. He finished his time in Madrid scoring 75 goals in the 174 La Liga games. After signing for a record club transfer cost, Torres joined Liverpool Premier League club in 2007. The first year at Anfield was the first player to achieve more than 20 league goals in a season, since Robbie Fowler (1995-96). He was the top goal scorer of his career, and was the fastest Liverpool player to score 50 league goals. Torres was frequently regarded as the best striker in the world during the time (2007-2010).
