George Strait

 George Harvey Strait Sr. (born May 18 1952) is a famous American country music artist as well as songwriter, actor and music producer. Strait is often called the "King of Country", and is a well-known musician, singer, songwriter, actor, and music producer from the United American. His first single, "Unwound," was released in 1981. It marked the beginning of the rise of the neotraditional sound. In the 1980s, seven albums from Strait reached the top of the country charts. Strait was awarded his first Grammy Award for his album Troubadour in 2000. He was also named Artist of the Decade at the Academy of Country Music. Strait has been the CMA Entertainer-of the Year in 1989 in 1990, 2013, and 2013. He also won the ACM Entertainer-of the Year in 1990 & in 2014. He has been nominated for many more CMA and ACM Awards and has earned more wins in each category than any other artist.
