Jami Gertz

 Jami Beth Gertz (born October 28, 1965) is an American actress. Gertz is well-known for her roles in Crossroads, The Lost Boys and Less than Zero, as well her roles in the 1980s TV series Square Pegs, and 1996's Twister. Gertz also appeared in roles as Judy Miller on CBS' Still Standing, and Debbie Weaver on The Neighbors on ABC. Together with her husband Tony Ressler, she is an owner of the Atlanta Hawks of the National Basketball Association.She was discovered during an audition for talent across the country through Norman Lear and studied drama at NYU. Gertz together with Andrew Dice Clay, was an actor as a child in the episode Diff'rent Strokes. She also had a recurring part in The Facts of Life as Blair's best friend and schoolmate Boots St. Clair. Gertz's film debut was in the romance film of 1981 Endless Love. She then starred in the co-starring role on the TV sitcom Square Pegs in 1982-83. Gertz gained recognition for her starring role in 1987's.
