Philip John Clapp (born March 11, 1971),best known professionally as Johnny Knoxville, is an American stunt performer, professional wrestler actor, writer and producer. He is most well-known as the co-creator and co-star on MTV's reality series Jackass. The show ran for three seasons between 2000 to 2001. A year later, Knoxville and his co-stars returned for the debut of the Jackass film series, with a second and third installment being made available in 2006 and 2010 in the respective years.
