Julie Newmar

 Julie Newmar, born Julia Chalene Newmeyer on 16 August, 1933 She is an American singer, actress, and dancer. She is known for her many roles on screen, stage and television. She also writes, designer of lingerie and real estate mogul. In recognition of her performance as Katrin Sveg, she was awarded the Tony Award as Best Featured actress in the same Play. She reprised her part in The Marriage-Go-Round in 1961. She was a part of two seasons of Batman (1966-1967) in the role of Catwoman in the 1960s. Other stage credits include the Ziegfeld Follies (1956) and Lola in Damn Yankees! In 1961, Irma la Douce (1965) in regional productions. Newmar also appeared in the music video for George Michael's single from 1992, "Too Funky", and also starred as a guest in the film of 1995 To Wong Foo: Thanks for Everything! Julie Newmar. She is the oldest of three children born to Don and Helen (Jesmer), Newmeyer. Her father, who was the director of the Los Angeles City College's Physical Education department, was a former player in American professional football in the 1920s with the Los Angeles Buccaneers.
