Kelly Clarkson

Kelly Brianne Clarkson was born on April 24 in 1982. She is an American writer, singer and a television host. Following her win on the season 2002 of American Idol, she was successful in securing a record deal with RCA. The debut single "A Moment Like This" was a top hit on the US Billboard Hot 100 and was the most-sold country single in 2002. It was a track from her debut album Thankful (2003) that was released on the top spot of the Billboard 200. Clarkson made a decision to reinvent herself and resigned from Idol management to concentrate on the pop genre in the form of Breakaway (2004). Breakaway was backed by four US Top Ten singles, including the album's title song, "Since U Have Been Gone" as well as "Because of You". The album also received two Grammy Awards. Clarkson continued to contribute her creative talents to her third studio album, My December (2006) which she co-wrote the majority of the songs and also was executive producer. The label was not happy with the album's more dark rock sound, so she was reluctantly promoting the album. The fifth and fourth albums of her studio album, All I Ever Wanted (2008) and Stronger (2011) Stronger (2011), were more light in their tone and had a more pop-rock style. The first album became her second US top-selling album, and the latter

album made her the first artist to be awarded the Grammy Award.
