Darryl Raynard Richardson III, born on 19 January 1984, more popularly called Lil Scrappy is an American rapper from the United States. The rapper was discovered by producer and performer Lil Jon while performing in an Atlanta bar. Lil Scrappy, along with Trillville was among the first signings for Lil Jon's BME Recordings. Richardson is well-known in the Atlanta hip-hop scene. The label also had Lil Jon's BME Recordings Present. Trillville and Lil Scrappy were the first artists to be released by the label. The album ranked at number 12 on the Billboard 200. Lil Scrappy's debut album Bred 2 Die Born 2 Live was released by Reprise Records on December 5 in 2006. The album was produced by Lil Jon, the album includes 50 Cent, Bohagon and Lil Jon and also appearances by Olivia, Three 6 Mafia and Young Buck. Young Buck's debut single, "Money in the Bank" was Lil Scrappy's second Top 30 hit. Money in the Bank reached number 28 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts, and was his biggest single success and also his commercially highest-rated single. It also beat "No Problem"'s highest position by one spot.
