Marilu Henner

 Mary Lucy Denise Henner is an American actress from America. She began her career appearing in the first production of the musical Grease in 1971. She then making her debut on screen in the 1977 comedy-drama film Between the Lines.In 1977, Henner was cast in her breakthrough role in the role of Elaine O'Connor Nardo in the sitcom ABC/NBC Taxi the role she played through 1983. She was awarded five Golden Globe Award nominations. She appeared in a variety of films, including Hammett (1982), The Man Who Loved Women (83) and Johnny Dangerously (1984) and Johnny Dangerously (1884), RustlersRhapsody (1985), Rustlers Rhapsody (1985), Ladykillers (1888), L.A. Story (1991) and Noises Off (1992). She returned to television with an enthralling role on the CBS sitcom Evening Shade (1990-1994), and later had leading roles in several made-for-television movies.Henner was born in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Loretta Callis (born Nikoleta Kalogeropoulos), who passed away of arthritis at the age of 58. She was also the daughter of Joseph Henner (whose surname was initially Pudlowski), who died of heart attacks at the age of 52.
