American actor, businessman, and rapper Mark Robert Michael Wahlberg was born on June 5th in 1971. He was called Marky Mark. Wahlberg has been awarded numerous awards including an award from the BAFTA Award and nominations for three Academy Awards, three Golden Globe Awards and nine Primetime Emmy Awards. He was born in Boston in 1971. Wahlberg was a member of the group Marky Mark as well as the Funky Bunch during the 1990s. The group released two albums: Music for the People (1991) and You Gotta Believe (1992). His first screen appearance was with Renaissance Man (1994), and he was a part of Fear (1996). He was highly praised for his performance as Dirk Diggler, a porn actor, in Boogie Nights (1994). In the mid 2000s, he began to appear in action films like Planet of the Apes (2001) and The Italian Job ((2003).
