Sir Michael Philip Jagger, born on July 26, 1943 is an English musician and singer. He is best known for his role as singer-songwriter and lead vocalist of the rock band The Rolling Stones. His songwriting partnership with Keith Richards remains one of the most successful collaborations in music history. Jagger's career spans six years. He is widely acknowledged as one among the most influential and popular frontmen of the rock world. His distinctive voice and energetic live shows, as well as Richards' guitar style, have been the Rolling Stones' trademark throughout their career.
