Peyton Williams Manning, born on March 24, 1976, is an American former football quarterback who played in the National Football League (NFL). Manning was a former player of the NFL for 18 seasons. Manning was referred to as "the Sheriff" and played 14 seasons in Indianapolis, playing for the Colts, and then four seasons playing for the Denver Broncos. Manning is widely regarded as to be one of the best NFL quarterbacks. Manning is the elder brother of Eli Manning, former NFL quarterback. Manning played in the NCAA football tournament at Tennessee. He was a top quarterback for the Colts from 1998 until 2010. The struggle-hit Colts team was made better by Manning who helped them win eleven playoff runs and eight division championships. Manning also was their quarterback of choice from 1998 until 2010.
