Poppy Montgomery

 Poppy Montgomery born Poppy Donahue, whose birth date was on June 19,1972, is an Australian-American actress. She portrayed FBI agent Samantha Spade on the CBS mystery drama Without a Trace from 2002 until 2009 and also was the role of Detective Carrie Wells on the CBS/A&E Unforgettable, a police drama from 2011 to 2016.Montgomery was born in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, to mother Nicola (nee Montgomery), an executive and market researcher and father Phil Donahue, a restaurateur. She is the youngest of six children. Her parents named their children after flowers like Poppy, Daisy, Lily, Marigold, and Rosie. Their son Jethro Tull was named after their son. Montgomery disliked school and was expelled from six private academies. Then she dropped out of high school when she was 15 to pursue the stage in Bali and then travel around Bali with her boyfriend. Montgomery immigrated to the United States in her 18th year, arriving in Florida to meet a man she met while an exchange student. She realized after five days that she was not right.
