Reba McEntire

 Reba Nell McEntire a.k.a Reba, was born March 28 the year 1955. McEntire is known as the "Queen of Country" and has sold more than 75 million albums sold worldwide. In the 70s, McEntire has put over 100 songs in the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart with 25 of them reaching the top spot.She is an actress in television and films. The show on television Reba was a hit for six seasons. She also owns several businesses that include a clothing line.One of four children, McEntire was born and was raised in the state of Oklahoma. McEntire was a part of the Singing McEntires with her mother and siblings. They recorded music for a small label and played at local events. McEntire enrolled at Southeastern Oklahoma State University to pursue a career as an educator in public schools. She also continued to occasionally perform and was spotted singing in a rodeo event by country star Red Steagall. Steagall was attracted by McEntire's singing voice, helped to secure a recording contract for country music with PolyGram/Mercury Records in 1975.
