Rita Hay

 Rita Hayworth, born Margarita Carmen Cansino on 17 October 1918, and passed away on May 14, 1987. She was an American actress. The fame she received came in the 1940s, when she was one of the most famous stars of that era and appeared in 61 films within 37 years. Hayworth was the most famous screen star of the 1940s and the press even gave Hayworth the nickname "The Love Goddess". Hayworth was one of the most awaited pin-up actress for GIs in World War II. She is best remembered for her role in Gilda (1946) where she played the role of the femme fatale. It was her debut dramatic role. Her appearances in Only Angels Have Wings (1939), The Strawberry Blonde (41), Blood and Sand (41), The Lady from Shanghai (1947) The Lady from Shanghai (1947), Pal Joey(57) and Separate Tables (1958) are also notable. Fred Astaire, with whom she made two films, You'll Never Get Rich (1941) and You Were Never Lovelier (1942) has once referred to her as his preferred dance partner. Alongside Gene Kelly, she starred in Cover Girl (1944), which was a Technicolor musical. In the American Film Institute's 100 Years...100 stars survey, she is one of the 25 most prominent female motion picture stars.
