Ronda Jean Rousey (/'raUziRousey/; born on February 1, 1987) is an American professional wrestler and actress. She was also a former judoka and mixed martial artist. The current contract is to WWE. In her second stint she is the SmackDown Women's champion. Her participation competing in the Ultimate Fighting Championship is what has made her most famous. Roddy Piper earned her the nickname "Rowdy" and she started her professional wrestling career with WWE in the year 2018. Her debut was in Wrestlemania 34. She was awarded the Raw Women's Championship in that year's SummerSlam and she headlined WWE's inaugural all women's pay per viewing when she defended her title at WWE Evolution. Rousey was unable to defend her title in the first-ever women's WrestleMania main event at WrestleMania 35. Rousey won the Royal Rumble 2022 women's match. Charlotte Flair was her challenger for the SmackDown Women's match.
