American actress Mary Lucy Denise Henner. Her career began with Grease's first production in 1971 She was then selected to play Between the Lines in 1977 as Elaine O'Connor Nardo, a comedy-drama character. She earned five Golden Globe Award nominations for her performance in Taxi. She was later co-starring in films like Hammett (1982), The Man Who Loved Women (1983), Cannonball Run II (1984), Johnny Dangerously (1984) Rustlers' Rhapsody (1985), Ladykillers (1988), L.A. Story (1991) and the film Noises Off (1992). After starring in CBS' Evening Shade (1990-1994) in 1994, she returned to the television screen and was an actor in several television-produced movies. Henner was a University of Chicago student from Hyde Park, Chicago, originated the role of Marty in Grease's 1971 Kingston Mines production.
