Seth Aaron Rogen, /'roUg@nis a Canadian-American actor, comedian, and film maker. He was born on April 15th in 1982. His career began in Vancouver as a stand-up comic. After a brief stint on Judd Apatow's show Freaks and Geeks in Los Angeles and a subsequent interview, he was offered a part on the show Undeclared. Undeclared also hired Rogen to write. Apatow was a big help in encouraging Rogen to make a move in film, after securing his job as an assistant writer in the last season of Da Ali G Show. Apatow was an Primetime Emmy Award nominee for Outstanding Writing in the field of Variety Series. His first film role was in Donnie Darko (2001). Rogen was in the role of a supporting character and was also credited with co-producing Apatow's debut directorial effort, The 40 Year-Old Virgin. Universal Pictures cast Rogen as the main character in Apatow's films Knocked Up, Funny People. Rogen was a part of Universal's Steve Jobs biopic. He was the co-creator of the AMC television show Preacher in 2016 along with Sam Catlin and Evan Goldberg as his writing partners. He also writes as well as executive producer and director.
